Canadian ultralight manufacturers and one of the sponsors of the first ever Parabatix events, RS Ultra, have created a new ‘Komfort kit’ for their KX1 trike.

The kit comprises a fully-adjustable (both vertically and horizontally) bucket seat and an aluminium frame the company describe as “super-strong”. The specialised front fork enables it to be used as either a trike or a quad, switching easily from one configuration to the other.

A movable collar means the unit can be easily adapted for any pilot or engine size, and it can be flown with any paraglider, low hangpoints eliminating some of the yaw effect that is common with trikes, offering greater in-air comfort.

The 38 kg unit is light to handle and can be assembled and taken apart in less than 10 minutes for transporting.
