LAS CANDELAS VIDEO REPORT

Our video report of the first international event of the year
Las Candelas started as a traditional, mainstream festival in the otherwise sleepy village of La Puebla de los Infantes, an hour north east of the ancient city of Seville. Several years ago Spanish paramotor pilots started to come to the area to fly, discovered this longstanding event and loved it so much they decided to hold a pilots’ meeting to coincide with it. Over the years the festival has grown and is now in its twelfth year and firmly established on the international calendar as the first event of the new season.
This year saw the blue skies busy with foot-launch and trike paramotors as Ramon Morillas, Daniel Crespo, Pascal Campbell-Jones and others treated spectators to a series of displays. Conditions proved perfect for most of the weekend allowing everyone who wanted to, to get in the air
The exhibition tent grows from year to year and this year was the biggest yet. With all the Spanish brands in attendance we took the opportunity to ask them what was new and exciting for this year.
