ELECTRIC PARAMOTOR COMPETITION

The first competition for electric paramotors is to take place on 15 May 2007 - 20 May 2007, Crawinkel airfield near Thüringen in Germany

This event is organised by the DULV and will be run alongside the German Paramotor Nationals.

Favorite to win is Richard Krüger-Sprengel from Helix with his latest prototype: 1.2m prop and 15 minutes autonomy

2007 US PPG CONVENTION

The 2007 US PPG Convention is taking place in Florida next week and preparation is on its way to make it a big success.

It is also the US Nationals.

This year it is a new venue in a Seminole Indian Reservation.

Alligators and mosquitoes are not invited.

Paramotor Magazine will be there to promote the launch issue.

Lite Touch Films, Phil Russman’s film production company who were responsible for “Powered Paragliding” and “Risk and Reward”, two of PPG’s most widely sold films, have released a new DVD. “Gourmet Powered Paragliding” is the first in a series of adventure videos and follows five pilots on a cross country adventure along 200 miles of remote Mexican coastline.

CROSS COUNTRY and PG MAGAZINE MERGE

Paraglider Magazine, the US publication, has merged with Cross Country magazine to create one big international magazine. Nick Greece and Greg Gillam from Paraglider Mag join Cross Country as a special North American editorial team and the magazine will swell from its usual 76 pages to over 90 to incorporate the extra content.
