ADVANCE ALPHA4The new Alpha 4 has now passed DULV certification for paramotoring in sizes 25, 28 and 31. A new set of power risers have been developed for the Epsilon 5, which includes trimmers with low and mid clip-in points. Advance says that both wings use its exclusive ‘Pro-Flex’ profile giving easy inflation, low stall speeds, and a high level of stability combined with passive safety at high speed. Also new from Advance is its team jacket which was released at the Coupe Icare in St Hilaire, France.

BOEING TO PPG

John Travolta

Many movie stars have fallen in love with aviation, some even with PPG: William Shatner is a keen PPG pilot and Jedi Knight Ewan Macgregor recently took up paragliding. Now Saturday Night Fever and Pulp Fiction star John Travolta is rumoured to be dabbling in paramotoring.
Travolta has been involved in aviation for many years and holds a licence for many types of single and multi-engined jets and even regularly flies a Boeing 707. During the shooting of Travolta’s new film in New Mexico, the stunt coordinator and PPG pilot Jack Gill set up his Black Hawk 172 paramotor in the hope of tempting the star into the sport.
Unfortunately Travolta’s maiden flight wasn’t to be, as an over-zealous Park Ranger stopped them, stating it was against Park Regulations! Next time John…

Paratoys 2008 will be happening at Salton Sea California from Feb 7th to 10th. 1- Factories,schools and any venders who would like to display are welcome to call or write to inquiry about available booth space.
