This classic paramotoring video is now being released on DVD. The launch date is end of February but xcshop.com are now able to take pre-orders.

In February 2001, 35 pilots, from eight different countries arrived in Malaysia, each with a flying machine in their suitcase, to take part in an historic paramotor tour of some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. The pilots were given nearly unlimited access to Malaysian airspace, and granted special permission to fly over Kuala Lumpur city centre, and between the famous Petronous Twin towers..

This DVD follows the action using unique camera angles allowing you to be with the pilots as they skim across the beach, over the sea and above the city. After watching this DVD if you’re already a paramotor pilot, you’ll been booking your airline tickets, if not you’ll be signing up for lessons!

The biggest German Paramotor event will take place from the 3rd to the 8th of June 2008. Place of venue is the large airfield of Ballenstedt/Quedlinburg (www.flugplatz-ballenstedt.de) in the north of the mountain region Harz. The event includes an open Paramotor Championship as well as a Fun-Cup for beginners, an outdoor paramotor trade fair, fly-in, daily evening parties and more. This much anticipated paramotor DVD by film maker Phil Russman is finally ready for release. The follow up to the hugely successful Gourmet PPG, the new DVD follows four pilots as they venture deep into one of Mexico’s most majestic and remote regions, Magdelena Bay. The scenery and flying is beyond compare, but the adventure is not always smooth sailing.

The UK Paramotor Competition Committee is pleased to announce that the 2008 UK National Paramotor Championships will be held at Northrepps Aerodrome near Cromer in Norfolk from Saturday 31 May – Tuesday 3 June – a week after the Bank Holiday. The tasks will conclude at 12 noon with results and presentations following.
