Ozone Roadster and Indy now certified by the DMSV

Monday, July 21st, 2008

The Ozone Roadster and Indy are two of the first wings to pass the German Paramotor Association (DMSV)’s new certification process.

The Roadster is Ozone’s intermediate wing, aimed at a range of paramotor pilots from XC distance seekers to ground skimmers and adventure pilots. The M size has received DMSV B (without accelerator).

Ozone say the Indy is the ideal beginner PPG wing, with maximum ease of launch and landing, in flight stability, and highly forgiving handling. The M has received DMSV A. These results are in line with the character of both wings and also with the EN certification that they have already received.

Nirvana systems sponsors Above & Beyond Expedition

Saturday, July 12th, 2008

This summer two pilots will paramotor 3000 kilometers from Dawson City, Yukon to Salmo, British Columbia, creating an eye-opening documentary of what mass deforestation looks like today while showering these dead zones with seeds of alpine flowers native to those regions.

Their objective is to raise awareness around the depletion of western Canada’s forests while setting the stage for home grown initiatives Canadians can take in stepping up where the logging companies have fallen short.

Launch is on July 14th from Dawson City, Yukon, and the flight ends on 9th August 2008 at Festival in Salmo.
