Spanish paramotor firm PAP Team have two new engines for 2010, to replace the Top 80 and ROS 125 that they have been using for a number of years.

Designed in their workshop in Malaga, PAP's engines are being produced by fellow Spanish paramotor maker H&E. They hope to cut down delivery times and to make spare parts readily available. The two engines share a number of elements, such as gear box, pull starter and clutch.

PAP is confident enough to have taken out both the TOP 80 and ROS 125 from their current range, now replaced by the RM 80 and PA 125 which are said to offer greater thrust. The Fly 100 and Fly 200 remain, although PAP are apparently working on a 200 cc engine, as well as a light paramotor frame.

We'll let you know as soon as we get our hands on PAP's two new engines. And in case you're wondering 'PA' is said to be a reference to PAP's boss Pierre Aubert and 'RM' is a tribute to Ramon Morillas and Mathieu Rouanet, two pilots who have done a lot for the PAP brand and, conveniently, share the same initials…
