Hi does any one know what the cause of this incident was. I come from South Africa and I heard this incident occured not too long ago.

Please get your facts right before posting such nonsense...
Imagine what the deceased pilot's family must think if they read this... and they are both experienced PPG pilots too, and were on the same expedition, and helped search for 12 days to find him.
