The 2010 British Open Paramotor Championships (incorporating the 3rd and final leg of the 2010 British National Paramotor League) will be held from Thursday 10 – Sunday 13 June 2010 at Kerswell Green Fields, Kempsey, Worcestershire, 4 miles south of Worcester and 5 miles from junction 7 of the M5.

PPG Comps chairman, Andy Phillips, says:

Following the huge success of the 2009 National Championships at this exceptional site, the UK PPG Competitions Committee has secured it for the 2010 British Open Championships. With no European Paramotor Championships in 2010, we hope to play host to a number of Europe's top pilots and plan to make it a truly memorable event".

The site just east of the Malvern Hills provides "the perfect setting" for spectator-friendly precision tasks and "beautiful cross-country flying" in the Heart of England.

Entry fees are listed below - note they are half price for new competition pilots, who can also be paired up with a more experienced `buddy' if requested.

The mandatory main pre-event briefing will be at 9pm on the Wednesday evening (repeated at 9pm on Friday for those who can only attend for the weekend).

A Saturday evening party is planned (subject to agreement from the land owners) and an exhibition precision task is planned for late on the Sunday morning to be flown by the top-scoring precision pilots of the comp. This will be followed by the prize-giving and completion of the event by mid Sunday afternoon.

Fees:

Pilot Fees - £85 early booking or £95 late, with half price for new pilots
Free flyers £30 early or £40 late.
Camping 1-2 days £10; 3-4 days £20 (free for under 14s)
Trade stand + 2 people £50
Day visitor £5

A dedicated web site will be up and tunning soon, but in the meantime you can keep updated via the PPG Comps forum.
