WORLD DISTANCE RECORD BROKEN
Ramon Morillas’ world record for distance on a paramotor has been broken in Mexico by Fernando Iriarte. Fernando took off at 7.15 in the morning from Puerto Vallata, Jalisco and headed in a northerly direction with favourable winds. By one in the afternoon he had flown over 500km and was on target to gain the record. He eventually touched down at 9:08pm in the Bay of Kino, Sonoro after flying for thirteen hours and 53 minutes and having covered 1,144 km beating the previous record of 1,106 km. The flight details will be sent to the FAI for ratification.
