Dates for the 2nd Homegrown flying festival have been confirmed as the 12-14 September 2008. Building on the success of the first event in 2006, which was a total sell-out, the festival will follow a similar format. There’ll be inspirational and educational talks from some of the big names in the sport, trade tents showing all the latest gear (much of which is available to test) and music and dancing till late.

Homegrown is based at Fforest Farm in Mid-Wales, UK, right underneath a popular flying site. Camping is on-site with hot showers and toilets, and food and beer tents all within walking (or stumbling!) distance. With a big following of both PG and PPG pilots Homegrown is without doubt the biggest celebration of flight the UK has – so come and join the party!
