Karen Skinner achieves three world records
Karen Skinner set three new paramotor world records at the Flypa Festival in Teneriffe. The Brit, now living in Spain, first cracked the women’s altitude record of 4030 metres, on 1 May. In the same flight she also set a new 3000m time-to-climb world record, reaching this height in 29 minutes. A day later she set the third world record – this time for speed flying, with a speed of 54 km/h over 15 /25 km. All the data for these record claims have been registered with the FAI pending ratification. Karen was flying Advance’s new Epsilon 6 wing.
Two weeks later Juanjo Garcia and Ramon Morillas took the 1st and 2nd places in the 2009 Spanish Paramotor Championship, both flying the new Epsilon 6.
Advance would like to pass on their congratulations to these pilots.
