APCO Vista HP hybrid reflex paramotor
The Vista HP is Apco’s new high end, hybrid reflex® paramotor wing, targeted at pilots who are ready to move on from the Thrust HP. Its creation, in consultation with pilots and dealers, has been a long, challenging project. Both sizes (S, 70 – 100 kg without motor or 75 – 140 kg with; and M, 85 – 120 kg without motor or 100 – 165 kg with) have now passed CE certification flight tests, categories B and C respectively.
Apco say the Vista HP boasts a competitive speed range, good performance, perfect launch and flare, even lighter brake pressure and more responsive, direct handling than previous Apco wings. It becomes a fully reflex wing when accelerated, ie the centre of pressure moves forward and the internal pressure increases, improving stability and preventing collapse. but retains the advantages of non-reflex wings at lower speeds (good launch, handling and stability). Apco’s SRS® system (patent pending) enables a low speed launch and flare – making the wing virtually stall resistant and aiding in automatic recovery in case of stall.
