For 2008 Apco are supplying a mobile phone / key strap as a free gift with every glider they sell. The strap has a pre-flight check printed on it to remind pilots of the sequence of steps before take off. The strap is also available to buy for all customers.
The company has also developed some new plastic line keepers which they say have been redesigned to securely lock in to the maillon, properly securing lines and riser.
