Apco Thrust HP 2009
The Thrust HP (High Performance) project mission was to combine the advantages of the Thrust in low speeds with the latest Reflex profile technology in high speeds to yield a specialized paramotor wing that would offer true high performance yet retain the friendliness and safety of the Thrust.
The Thrust HP features a unique patent-pending Automatic Stall Recovery System (SRS) that allows the pilot to fly and launch at amazingly low speeds despite the high wing loading.
For the 2009 version Apco have reduced the weight compared to the original Thrust HP, created new top surface designs and incorporatd features such as the SRS, HIT valves (high speed intake valves increase internal pressure), flexon battens, swivels and neodymium magnets, which they say exemplify their uncompromising attention to detail.
They summarise the Thrust HP as ” a versatile high performance paramotor wing for pilots who wish to stretch their flight envelope and keep their smile in the air”.
