World record tandem paramotor flight in Brazil

On 7 July 2008, Miguel Esteves flying a SOL Kangaroo 2 with Advanced 1400 motor, along with his passenger, Adão Cléber, broke the world paramotor record with a 380km flight in Brazil.

Launching from Capão da Canoa beach, the 5 1/2 hour flight used 44 litres fuel and broke the previous record by 19 km. The 14 litres fuel that remained on landing would have allowed a further two hours’ flying time.
